Martin City turned green on March 11th for the 31st annual St. Patrick’s Parade and we want to thank everyone who came out to spend the afternoon with us! This year’s theme was “Geared for the Future,” a celebration of technology innovation and growth happening in South Kansas City, and we were thrilled to have Gary Fish, founder of Fishtech, and his robot assistant, Pepper, kicking off the parade as our Grand Marshals!

Big thanks to our volunteer parade judges, Mark Alford from Fox 4 News, Vickie Wolgast from South KC Chamber, Mike Mahoney from KMBC News, Morgan Mayer from Honeywell FMT, and Sarah Espinosa from Burns & McDonnell, and to our emcee, John Holt from Fox 4 News, who did a fantastic job entertaining us while keeping the parade moving forward!

Despite the cool weather, we had 58 parade entries this year and many of them were new to Martin City, so it was fun to welcome them into the mix! We appreciate all our Martin City businesses who participated in the parade, too!
