Bambini Creativi offers learning experiences for children preschool (2.5 years old and potty trained) to 4th Grade using an early childhood program called the Reggio Emilia Approach. The Reggio Approach has a strong belief that children learn through interactions with others, including parents as partners, staff, and peers in a friendly learning environment.

At Bambini, the child is viewed as strong, powerful, rich in potential, driven by the power of wanting to grow, and nurtured by adults who take this drive towards growth seriously. The curriculum has purposeful progression, but not scope and sequence. Teachers follow the children’s interests and do not provide focused instruction. Their vision of each child as a competent learner produces a strong child-directed curriculum model where children are encouraged to learn about themselves and the world around them through investigation and discovery.

Bambini Creativi was intentionally designed to provoke interest, raise questions, and motivate intrinsic learning. When you walk in the door, you are immediately inspired to wonder. The interior and exterior spaces are organized to foster interaction, autonomy, curiosity, exploration, communication, and relationships.

Natural light funnels in and casts interesting shadows and rainbows along the colorful walls. You hear moving water from the fountain, and singing parakeet birds. The school is furnished with PLAY+ furniture, designed in collaboration with 28 international designers, ZPZ Partners, and the guidance of Reggio Children. To learn more, please visit their website.
