The 30th Anniversary of Irishpalooza is just around the corner and Martin City businesses have been busy making preparations for the March 12th event. Whether they are Irishpalooza sponsors or they’ve entered a float in the parade, our local businesses are coming out with a bang to support our Martin City community.
Grade-A-Tree Care has plans to deck out one of their fleet trucks for the parade and they aren’t taking this task lightly! Not only do they plan to adorn the truck with balloons and banners, their staff is planning to ride in the truck in full St. Patrick’s attire this year, complete with orange beards and top hats! Full of energy and smiles, we’re looking forward to seeing them roll down 135th Street on parade day this year!
Everything that happens on Irishpalooza day comes from the generous support of our valuable sponsors and we would love for your company to get involved! Thanks to our first ever Concert Presenting Sponsor, Fishtech, The Elders will have a FREE concert in Martin City immediately following the parade under the main Irishpalooza event tent!
We have a variety of sponsorships still available and all sponsors receive recognition on the Irishpalooza website, on event posters, banners, flyers and of course on MCCID social networks! You are also recognized at the event. Here’s a list of who we have on board so far: 2017 Irishpalooza Sponsors
This year’s Grand Marshall is Ian Byrne, a member of the band, The Elders, and our emcee is John Holt, Co-Anchor for Fox 4 News.
The parade begins at 2:00 p.m. departing from the State Line Point Shopping Center parking lot at Washington and 135th Street and stops at the intersection of 135th Street and Holmes Road. The parade typically has over 65 entries – a great mix of floats, family entries, drill teams, auto clubs, motorcycle groups, dignitary cars, walking groups and animal groups. The parade concludes around 3:30 p.m.
We are excited to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Irishpalooza and hope to have your business be a part of this 30th anniversary year! For more information about entering or sponsoring this year’s parade, please visit the Irishpalooza website, or contact Missy Wilson, the MCCID’s Executive Director, at 816-308-1023 or firstname.lastname@example.org
