Meet Our New MCCID Executive Director!

Meet Our New MCCID Executive Director!

We’re thrilled to introduce you to Tiffany Moore, the new Executive Director of the Martin City CID! Now the principal consultant and owner of Built Kansas City, LLC, her professional background is in the commercial design and construction industry, which includes positions at Burns & McDonnell and Honeywell. She is an experienced adjunct professor at Johnson County Community College, working in the Construction Management Technology department.

We’re most impressed with her work as president of her neighborhood’s homes association, where she led a capital improvement campaign which included grant writing to obtain funds and collaborating with the city on major repairs to the neighborhood’s park. The experience gave her the opportunity to build relationships with city officials and learn the inner-workings of how to move projects forward.

“I’m excited to marry my knowledge of the construction industry with what I learned through working to improve my neighborhood, and apply it to this role with Martin City in a new way,” said Moore.

As the Executive Director, Moore will serve as the liaison on behalf of CID members to the City of KCMO and Jackson County on all Martin City infrastructure design and construction needs. She will also facilitate monthly board meetings and collaborate with the Martin City Business and Community Association (MCBCA) on district events.

“Martin City has many successful projects under its belt, and I’m excited to work with the CID and the MCBCA to capitalize on what’s already taken place,” said Moore.

One of her first priorities is to meet and establish relationships with all the CID business owners and let them know she is a resource in the district working on their behalf.  She also plans to gather input from surrounding communities to find opportunities for future partnerships and community events.

“My hope is to bring a fresh pair of eyes to the CID, and collect input on the next strategic moves the CID makes,” said Moore. “There are so many exciting things happening in Martin City, and I’m looking forward to working with the district to take it to the next level.”

We’re excited to have Moore on board! Please visit her profile to view her contact information.
