We are lucky to be able to say, Martin City has the largest beach volleyball dome in the country! The new winter dome at Volleyball Beach is a whopping 320 feet x 120 feet, and 40 feet high. There are only three sand volleyball operations under air domes in the U.S. (Volleyball Beach is the largest). and guess what? The new Volleyball Beach air dome is actually the largest air dome (for any reason) in Kansas City. That’s great news for Martin City because we know it’s already bringing more people to our growing community.
On February 2, 2016, Volleyball Beach celebrated their first successful season of “Winter Digs” with the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce at a Morning Mingling event, where many supporters came out to put their feet in the sand inside the dome.
