Under supervision, landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or other equipment. Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, sod laying, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking. Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or water cans. Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Mow or edge lawns using power mowers or edgers, plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grasses, groundcovers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection using gardening tools. Trim or deadhead flowers and clean flower beds. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays when necessary. Multiple 12-month year-round positions are available.
Help in the Garden Center
Immediate part-time/full-time seasonal openings in our Garden Center. Duties vary weekly and seasonally. Responsibilities will include: assisting customers, register sales, unloading trucks, setting up displays, plant care/watering, assisting in-store events, maintaining grounds including greenhouses and surrounding area, light repair work of buildings and structures on grounds. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Maintenance/Landscape Crew Leaders
Experience preferred. Crew leaders must have the ability to run a 3-person crew with minimal supervision on residential and commercial landscape projects. Crew leaders must be 21 years old, have a valid driver license, with a clean record and the ability to pass a DOT physical.
Duties include installing irrigation systems on commercial and residential projects or servicing existing irrigation systems, including repairs, activations, and winterizations. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train. Must be 21 years old, have a valid driver license, with a clean record and the ability to pass a DOT physical.
