Martin City St. Patrick’s Parade

The Martin City St. Patrick’s Parade has been POSTPONED!

With increased concern for public safety due to the coronavirus, The Martin City CID Board of Directors has made the decision to postpone the Martin City St. Patrick’s Parade scheduled for Sunday, March 15th.

We know everyone looks forward to this event each year, but we feel the safety and wellness of our participants, volunteers, and attendees is the most important thing right now. We are planning to reschedule and will have a parade later in the year so watch for more information on that to come! 😁 If you have any questions, please contact the CID at 816.308.1023 or [email protected].

St. Patrick’s Parade History

The very first Martin City parade in 1987 consisted of four Martin City business owners who grabbed their friends, hopped in two cars and a horse & buggy, and held an impromptu St. Patrick’s “parade” down 135th Street.  Over the years, the parade has become an inspiring showcase of more than 60+ businesses, dance teams, schools, car clubs, dignitaries, animal groups, and more.  Read the full story in the Martin City Telegraph.
