Blue Nile Contractors has three crews steadily working along Blue Ridge Boulevard and Holmes Road on the replacement of the water mains. The construction zone along Holmes Road runs from Blue Ridge Boulevard to the north side of 135th Street. The construction along Holmes Road from Blue Ridge Boulevard to the north side of 135th Street is occurring at the ends of the construction zone, and will proceed towards the railroad tracks located in the center of the construction zone.
The construction crew is not starting at one end of the zone working either north or south. The crew is starting at Blue Ridge/Holmes intersection working south at the same time, starting at 135th Street point working north. The crew will eventually meet at railroad tracks in the middle of the zone. The Contractors will work four days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to complete the project. All roads will be open in both directions, however, temporary road closures may be required from time to time with flaggers directing traffic.
