Show up in your ugliest holiday sweater at 6:00 pm and participate in KC Running Company‘s annual Martin City Holiday Lighting Ugly Sweater Group Run/Walk!
The line-up starts at their Martin City store on 135th Street and there will be an ugly sweater contest before the race begins. Food and beverages will be served afterwards. Please RSVP to [email protected] if you’d like to participate in the Ugly Sweater run/walk event!

Turn the evening into a Friday night family fun night and enjoy dinner at one of our Martin City restaurants! Many will have dinner and drink specials to celebrate the holiday season, and Martin City Coffee will be be set-up on 135th Street serving hot drinks and treats.

BRING A DONATION FOR CORNERSTONES OF CARE!

We will be collecting donations during the holiday lighting for Cornerstones of Care (Ozanam Campus) in Martin City. They want to make sure everyone has a gift to open on Christmas day and we want to help them make that happen!

Someone from the Martin City Business and Community Association will be located near a donation bin at Heartland Imaging KC from 6pm-8pm to accept cash and check donations, as well as new, unwrapped toys and gifts. View their holiday wish list
We’ll post more details on our website and social networks as they become available, and we’ll let you know where to park as the date approaches.
#MCHolidayLighting is the official event hashtag if you’d like to follow along!

If you’d like to volunteer to help out with the holiday lighting, please contact the MCBCA to get involved!
