Martin City Brewing Company

The Martin City Brewing Company (MCBC) is well known for its Cheers-like hometown atmosphere and an affinity for Belgian beer. From the brewing to the canning, all the magic happens in the craft microbrewery located at 410 E 135th Street. Their 15 barrel brewing system with a fermentation capacity of up to 60 barrels produced almost 8,500 barrels of Belgian beer in 2019.

MCBC craft beers are served at restaurants and bars across the Kansas City region and beyond, and their canned beers are available at over 200 liquor and grocery stores on both sides of the state line.

The MCBC Pizza & Taproom is connected to the Brewery at 410 E 135th Street and offers an extensive selection of MCBC beers, stone-fired pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and more. Enjoy patio seating, live music on the weekends, and beer to go.

Martin City Brewing Company’s original brewpub is located at 500 E 135th Street across the street from the Pizza and Taproom/Brewery. The restaurant has over 50 beers on tap and offers a creative seasonal menu prepared by ambitious and passionate chefs. The MCBC brewpub is one of South Kansas City’s most popular restaurant destinations and quickly fills to capacity on weekends. Unfortunately, they don’t take reservations so arrive early if you don’t want to wait.

The MCBC family of businesses includes the original Martin City Pub, the MCBC Pizza & Taproom, Santa’s Bakeshop across the street, The Martin Event Space on the corner of Holmes Road and 135th Street, and The Scoop Ice Cream Shop just a few blocks down the street outside of KC Running Company. Outside of Martin City, they have Pizza & Taproom locations in Overland Park, Kansas, and Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
