Welcome Cable Dahmer Automotive Group Commercial Sales & Service Center to the Martin City neighborhood!
We joined the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting in June 2026, officially kicking off a new era at the southwest corner of 135th Street and Holmes Road.
“We outgrew our last building, so this is really ideal for the kind of growth we’re experiencing,” CEO Carlos Ledezma told the crowd. “And the location here in Martin City’s thriving neighborhood is exactly what we want.”

Technicians, neighbors, and local business owners attended the event.
The facility serves a very specific role within Cable Dahmer Automotive Group. It takes care of large groups of vehicles all in one place, from work vans and trucks to used cars and brand-new models. Vehicles are inspected, repaired or reconditioned, outfitted with any needed accessories, and then sent out to be sold or returned to businesses that put them back to work. The space, equipment, and workflow are specially designed to handle a high volume of vehicles efficiently.

“At its heart though, this is all about developing people,” Ledezma explained. “We want to give young technicians long-term career paths. We know that facilitating rewarding careers is good for our company. So, this location puts us in a stronger position to do that. We want to help them learn and grow. And we really enjoy watching it happen.”
Commercial Fleet Service Director Kyle Kitzsteiner says the operation is already shifting into high gear.
“We have dozens of fleet accounts, mostly major national accounts. We also do a lot for local HVAC businesses and other contractors. 135th and Holmes Road is very convenient for them.”

Look at all those cars out front! The location doesn’t handle retail vehicle sales, but if a particular vehicle catches your eye, the staff inside can help.
“Feel free to look around and take your time. We have rows and rows of vehicles,” says Kitzsteiner, gesturing toward the wide-open lot. “If you see a vehicle you like, just stop in and we can guide you to another location where our sales department can help you with the purchase process.”

And thank you to all the neighborhood businesses, including Jess & Jim’s Steakhouse, Pegah’s Cafe, Secure Passage, and Martin City Telegraph, for attending the ribbon-cutting to welcome our newest neighbor in person.

We are thrilled to see this long-vacant property transformed into a vibrant new business. Revitalizing a site like this requires a significant investment, and Cable Dahmer deserves credit for breathing new life into a prominent corner of Martin City while investing in our community.
