Anyone who has traveled along 135th Street between Wornall and Oak Streets recently has likely seen a lot of dirt being moved around and traffic being delayed. All of this activity is due to the installation of the 66” stormwater line on the south side of 135th Street.
The contractor hopes to complete the installation of this line in the month of March. Upon completion of the storm water line, the construction team will begin working on the street surface along with pouring new curbs and sidewalks. The contractors will NOT begin working on the street surface until some time AFTER March 14th, so our 29th Annual Martin City St. Patrick’s Parade on March 13th will not be affected.
