A classy February evening at the Armacost Car Museum in City of Grandview, site of the 95th Annual South Kansas City Chamber Dinner & Community Impact Awards. (95 years wow!)
Congrats to all 2026 winners! We were especially proud to watch Martin City superstars Alexa Barkley – State Farm Insurance Agent, GreenEarth Cleaning, and Cable Dahmer Automotive Group bring home top honors!

Thank you Pegah’s Cafe and Hagen Anderson & Associates EXP Realty, LLC of Martin City for joining us at the Martin City CID table!

Alexa Barkley – State Farm Insurance Agency won the 2026 Small Business Community Impact Award.
Alexa Barkley’s Insurance Agency team actively participates in local organizations, including the South KC Rotary Club, the Martin City Improvement District (she’s a Board member!), and the South KC Chamber of Commerce member activities. The business is also a Caring for Kids Network partner at Martin City Elementary and regularly volunteers for a wide range of community services including Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army and the Grandview Assistance Program. Congratulations to Alexa and her Martin City team for taking home this year’s Small Business Award.

GreanEarth Cleaning won the 2026 Sustainability Community Impact Award.
GreenEarth Cleaning, also headquartered in Martin City, was recognized for the creation and world-wide distribution of an incredible breakthrough environmentally-friendly technology in an industry traditionally associated with significant environmental harm.
Conventional dry cleaning has long relied on toxic chemical solvents. GreenEarth replaces that model with a non-toxic, silicone-based cleaning system combined with activated clay filtration, eliminating hazardous waste while remaining effective and fabric-safe. With more than 25 years of proven use and adoption in thousands of locations worldwide, GreenEarth demonstrates how innovative technology can dramatically reduce environmental impact while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. We couldn’t be more proud of this Martin City company for earning Chamber’s Sustainability Award.

Cable Dahmer Automotive Group won the 2026 Corporate Citizen Community Impact Award.
Cable Dahmer Automotive Group has facilities in Martin City, and community impact reaching far beyond. The company’s core initiative is the Million Meals Mission, in partnership with Harvesters – The Community Food Network, and has successfully raised awareness and funded over 17 million meals for local families to date. Cable Dahmer also provides consistent financial support and sponsorship to numerous vital organizations, including Sheffield Place, the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Making Strides of Kansas City with the American Cancer Society, and Chevy Youth Baseball.
In addition, the company partners with the Olathe Advanced Technical Center and Fort Osage Career & Technology Center to give students opportunities to apprentice at the company’s locations, gaining hands-on experience and preparing for careers in the automotive industry. Congrats to Cable Dahmer on the Chamber’s Corporate Citizen Community Impact Award.
The Martin City Community Improvement District continued our long tradition of sponsoring the event again this year. Big thanks goes out to District businesses who made a strong showing of support through sponsorships and attendance, including Martin City Telegraph, Secure Passage, Rosehill Winery, Rosehill Gardens, The Martin Event Space, Pegah’s Cafe, Hagen Anderson & Associates EXP Realty, LLC, and Blessings Abound Thrift Store.
