BIG Thank you to everyone who participated in our 5th Annual Whiskey Run 5K in Martin City on March 12th!
The Whiskey Run 5K race was held on at 8:30 a.m., March 12 (Irishpalooza day) in front of KC Running Company in Martin City. Over 800 registered runners and walkers braved the freezing cold weather to come out and participate in this annual event. We had so many participants this year, it took over two minutes to get all of them out of the starting gate!

KIDS FUN RUN
The Whiskey Run 5K race was followed by a 50-200 yard “Kid’s Fun Run” for kids ages 8 and under. We had quite a few little racers show off their speed!
All race participants received a Whiskey Run finishers medal and a free post-race brunch from RC’s Restaurant in the event tent across the street from the finish line. Fried Chicken, biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits…. AND athletes. Definitely a breakfast for champions.
