Law Enforcement Appreciation Celebration

Martin City business leaders and South KC Chamber members invite you to help us celebrate the many local Kansas City police officers committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe!

• Explore police cars, motorcycles, rollover vehicles, and more!
• Tour the Mobile DUI Enforcement Center and take a field sobriety test
• See body cameras, bullet proof vests, and safety equipment officers wear on the job each day
• Check out new technologies used to deter and solve more crimes
• Complimentary refreshments available while they last!

“This is a wonderful opportunity to meet local police officers and get to know us in person,” says KCPD Officer Mary McCall. “We want you to know who we are when you see us around the neighborhood.”

Bring a new backpack for a local student in need!

KCPD South Patrol officers will be collecting new backpacks during the event to donate to students at Martin City K-8 School. Please consider dropping off a new backpack (or more!) so we can help more local students prepare for school success!
