Great partners are key to our success in Martin City, and one partner we want to thank is the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. If you were at the recent ribbon cutting for Pristine Hearing Aid Solutions in January, you know that members of the chamber came out to celebrate and support our newest Martin City business. We appreciate the ongoing support from Chamber members in making our businesses feel welcome!

Vickie Wolgast, the president of the SKCCC, says people are taking notice of Martin City. “There is an energy in Martin City that hasn’t been there in the past,” says Wolgast. “People are visiting that have never been there before, and they are recognizing great things are happening in the district.”
The chamber is hosting several upcoming events in Martin City and we strongly encourage our CID businesses to get involved!
Volleyball Beach will host the monthly Morning Mingle on Tuesday, February 2nd at 8:00 AM. This is a time to network with others and learn about businesses around South Kansas City.
The monthly networking lunches feature speakers on topics important to businesses in South Kansas City. Here are a few upcoming dates for you to block on your calendars:
The February membership luncheon will take place at The Martin (Martin City Brewing Company’s new event space) on February 18th at 11:30 AM.
On March 24th at 11:30 AM, the luncheon will take place at RC’s Restaurant.
Thank you to all the chamber members who continue to support Martin City. We have big plans for 2016, and we couldn’t do it without all your help!
