Martin City Brewing Company/ Pizza and Tap Room
Drink beer by the Christmas tree while enjoying the Martin City Brewing Company’s awesome event space! With a one of a kind upscale food pub menu, pizza from a stone fire oven and a variety of local brews to choose from, the Martin City Brewing Company provides a unique atmosphere for party guests looking for that special holiday flare! The space can accommodate 50-130 people.
Jess & Jim’s Steakhouse
Operating since 1938, Playboy magazine once named this beloved restaurant one of the nation’s top 12 steakhouses. More recently, Travel & Leisure named Jess & Jim’s #20 out of 32 best steakhouses across the country. These folks are serious about their beef, cutting it fresh daily and defining Extra Rare, Rare, Med-Rare, Med, Med Well and Well-cooked steaks right on their menu. Event space at Jess & Jim’s is available for as few as 10 and as many as 100 people with NO room fees. It’s a great location for both company and family holiday gatherings and the menu can be customized to fit any budget.
RC’s Restaurant/ RC’s Backdoor
Located in the heart of Martin City, RC’s Restaurant has served family-style fried chicken chicken dinners since 1973. For home-cooking lovers who want something other than chicken, the restaurant serves hot roast-beef sandwiches, chicken-fried steak, pork chops, catfish, and deep-fried shrimp. They have rooms that hold 30, 40, 50 and 60 people, and the upstairs event space can hold up to 200 people and is fully equipped with a bar, billiards, darts, shuffleboard and plenty of other things to do! They do have minimums if you want a private room but no fees or minimums if you are able to share space with other tables or parties.
Margaritas South
Many people don’t know this but Margarita’s has been providing catering services to the Chiefs fans at the Pavilion and Wolfpack club since 1998, and serving the Royals players dinners since 1991. Catering just the way you want is their speciality. Want to come in, pick up your food and run? They do that. Too busy and need them to drop it off at your location? They do that. Do you need a full service caterer to wait on you and your guests for the entire party whether it’s at Margaritas or at your house? They do that too. There is no rental fee to use their private party space throughout the holidays. A $100 deposit is required to hold your date and the room holds up to 80 people inside (140 people total with outside space included).
Jack Stack Barbecue Private Dining
Enjoy your favorite Jack Stack barbecue in the comfort of your own private restaurant. Located near their original location in south Kansas City, the Martin City Private Dining Banquet Room offers a subtle elegance and charm that is perfect for any event. The Martin City Private Dining Banquet Room is located at 13645 Holmes Road and can accommodate seating for up to 175 guests.
