The Martin Event Space Wins Top Honors in Wedding Magazine Ranking.
Our neighborhood’s most inspiring comeback story continues to unfold at the corner of 135th & Holmes Road. The Martin Event Space, located on one of Martin City’s most historic properties, is a rising star after being taken over by Rachel Long last January (2024). Long has worked hard to restore and renovate the old church property dating back to 1890, and bookings have exploded under her leadership.
The Martin is a one-of-a-kind venue, rich in atmosphere that’s perfect for a wide range of events, including weddings. In fact, Kansas City Engaged magazine has just announced winners in its 2024 Couples Choice Awards, and The Martin scored the top honor in the Rehearsal Dinner category! Congratulations to the whole team on this exciting milestone!
